Sharing my awesome diy shampoo bar without lye and melt and pour recipe that you are bound to love. I am only curious why the aversion to lye. Pour the mixture into a soap mold. I ve used castille soap melt and pour soap base olive oil castor oil black molasses and a blend of essential oils.

This recipe is great if you have dark brown dry thick and coarse hair. Spray with rubbing alcohol to prevent air bubbles. I love using sci because it is sulfate free base that can not damaged. Since i m using a soap base there is no need to handle lye and this is a very easy recipe to create.

You need to use lye though to make soap or shampoo bars plain and simple. Ground cinnamon and wild orange essential oil. After you have made it let it sit for a week or two before using. The lye is part of the whole soap making action.
