Each spring 30 plein air artists from across the nation work in various medium to capture the outdoor sights and scenes of historic marble falls and the panoramic texas hill country. Currently i am making plans to participate in the late april paint the town plein air event in marble falls texas. Paint the town features painters from texas and across the nation working in various mediums to capture the outdoor sights and scenes of historic marble falls and the panoramic countryside. While the epicenter is downtown marble falls and lakeside pavilion may 3 5 the artists are definitely taking advantage of the rest of the highland lakes. Plein air artists will dot the marble falls and highland lakes landscape for a week during the 13th annual paint the town.

For a full week. Marble falls will welcome nationally recognized artists to participate in the 12th annual paint the town during the week of april 29 may 5. The juried competition and sale are sunday march 31 through saturday april 6. Invited artists will explore the area for the perfect place to set up their easels and paint outdoor scenes.

From may 2 8 2021 30 plein air artists from across the nation will be working in various medium to capture the outdoor sights and scenes of historic marble falls and the panoramic texas hill country that surrounds it.
